Rustaroo Cash
Real Rand banknotes drop in barrels and crates. Pick them up and fill your wallet. Every Thursday at the wipe the biggest wallet on the server is paid out in real money, up to R1 000. A tie goes to the player with the most kill cam votes, then to the R5 coin toss.
The cash is here to stay; it is what the week builds to. The amount per wipe and the finer rules are decided with the community and can change between wipes.

How it worksreal money, step by step
- 1Find the money. Rustaroo Rand drops in barrels and crates all over the map — one container in twenty holds an R5 coin or an R10, R20, R50, R100 or R200 note — and scientists, the hunter included, carry an R5 coin half the time. The rarer the note, the bigger the value. R1 000 is released per wipe: once it has all been found, the notes that drop are empty, so the early week is when most of it appears.
- 2Pick it up, it's yours. Break the barrel, open the crate or loot the body and the Rand goes straight into your wallet; the note is used up. Nothing to carry, nothing to store, nothing anyone can steal from a box. Your wallet shows top-left on your screen and with
/walletin chat. - 3Stay alive. When you die, 15% of your wallet (rounded to R5) drops on your body as real notes. Whoever loots your body gets that cash, killer included. Kill someone rich and loot fast.
- 4Raid for it. Destroy the tool cupboard of a player's biggest base — the TC with the highest upkeep — and their whole wallet is transferred to you on the spot. The TCs of their smaller bases do not count, and neither do your own or your team's. The richest players have the most to lose behind their doors.
- 5The biggest wallet wins. Every Thursday at 21:00 SAST the server wipes. At that moment the player with the biggest wallet on the server wins and is paid that wallet in real money, up to R1 000 (the amount of cash released per wipe). No kill cam needed: the richest wallet at the wipe wins, full stop. Wallets then reset for the new wipe. The draw happens six hours before the wipe; cash found after that does not count. Those last six hours are end-of-wipe PvP:

Kill cam votes decide. Two players on the same amount at the wipe? The one whose kill cams collected the most votes this wipe wins. Every PvP kill on Rustaroo is recorded and published as a kill cam, and anyone who logs in — with Steam or a verified email — can give any kill cam up to 10 votes, changeable any time, never on your own. Vote for your favourite kill cams — it decides ties. The tiebreaker race is below and on every card on the kill cams page.
- 7Still tied? The R5 coin. Same wallet, same votes? We toss the Rustaroo R5 coin. Everyone still tied tosses: heads stay in, tails are out, round after round until two remain, then one final toss decides it. Every toss is recorded and shown next to the draw below.
- 8Claim it. The winner is announced on this page and on the live feed. The winner opens Claim your payout and enters their Steam ID and the South African bank account to pay into: account holder, bank, account number, branch code and account type.
- 9Get paid. An admin confirms with the winner in game that the claim is really theirs, then pays by EFT to a South African bank account. No international payouts. If you have no South African bank account we fall back to the closest South African option, such as an eWallet or cash-send to a South African cellphone number, agreed with you in game. The draw is marked Paid in the list below, Pending until then.
The rules
- One draw per wipe, always on the wipe. No draw is skipped and no draw is repeated.
- The winner is the player with the biggest wallet at the moment of the wipe, and the prize is that wallet — capped at R1 000, the amount of cash released per wipe. Kill cams are not needed to win.
- A tie on wallet goes to the tied player whose kill cams have the most votes this wipe. Still tied: the R5 coin toss — everyone tied tosses, heads stay in, tails are out, until the last two, then a final toss. Every toss is recorded with the draw.
- Voting: log in with Steam or a verified email, up to 10 votes per player per kill cam, adjustable until the wipe. Only kill cams of the current wipe count and votes only ever decide a tie. No voting on your own kill cams; one login per person — vote farming forfeits the prize.
- The public map never shows exact positions: bases and players are shown as an area at least 5×5 grids.
- Takedowns: if a kill cam of you shows something sensitive — your base layout, your location — you can request a takedown from the clip page (Steam login). It comes down immediately, we review it, and we fix the generation so it does not happen again. A taken-down clip leaves the votes and the draw with it.
- Raiding: destroy the tool cupboard of a player's biggest base (their TC with the highest upkeep) and their whole wallet goes to you. Smaller bases' TCs, your own and your team's TCs do not count.
- The Rustaroo admins take part like everyone else.
- South African payouts only. Prizes are paid by EFT to a South African bank account. No international transfers, no foreign accounts, no crypto. If the winner has no South African bank account, the admins fall back to the closest South African payout (eWallet or cash-send to a South African cellphone number). Claims are verified in game before paying and must be submitted within 30 days of the draw.
- Cheating, account sharing or exploiting the cash system forfeits the wallet and the prize. The AI admin reviews every player.
- Rustaroo Rand is not legal tender and has no value outside this promotion. This is a free promotional competition run by the Rustaroo admins; no purchase or payment is needed to take part.
